Thomas Compressor

Battery operated - shown with Norgren Relief Valve installed in upper photo

More Info in pdf® format

Norgren 16-004 Relief Valve

Used to relieve excess pressure from the compressor. The pressure switch should be used to start and stop the compressor. The relief valve is a safety backup.

Nason Pressure Switch

Used to send signals to controller to start and stop the compressor

Clippard Tanks

Used to lessen pulsations and store reserve air (energy).
Long lengths of tubing add additional storage capacity.

Instruments
5CP3-7

Pressure Transducer gives an output based on the input pressure. It could be used to monitor system pressure as shown in the pneumatic schematic or to monitor an individual circuit.
Norgren R07 Regulator with gauge

More Info in pdf format

Regulators are used for pressure control. Changing pressure changes the force of the actuator.

Force = Pressure x Area

Monnier Regulator with bracket

Regulators are used for pressure control. Changing pressure changes the force of the actuator.
Force = Pressure x Area
The Monnier regulator should be downstream of the Norgren regulator

One linear actuator is included in the kit. You may order up to three additional at no charge. One of those may be a rotary actuator and the added cylinders can be equipped with reed position sensing switches and magnetic pistons.

Bimba on-line order form for additional linear or rotary actuators

Parker Linear  Actuator

Bimba Linear Actuators have the same mounting and external  dimensions as the Parker Actuators

Single solenoids stay shifted as long as current is applied to the solenoid. Double solenoids need only a momentary signal to shift and stay shifted until an opposing signal on the opposite coil is applied. All valves are internally piloted and need a minimum of 30 psig to operate.
