The new components, reed switches, rotary actuators and pressure transducer offer some interesting possibilities
We'd like to have interested teams, mentors, teachers or industry people to suggest ideas that could be used by rookies (or experienced teams) to develop great robots. Please include sketches or pictures to make use of your ideas easier. You can simply attach them to your e-mail (click here)
Let's start with a couple from the WEB Master.
  • Bimba on-line order form for additional linear or rotary actuators
  • The rotary actuator offers 90º rotation and suggests a wrist action perhaps for tossing. Remember the 10 ft. per second suggestion.
  • How about a kicker that sends the balls back to the human player from well out in the field, saving the time to push the balls back and come out to the field again.
